This policy explains how NEET Codex Premium subscriptions are billed, renewed and refunded. Because all in-app purchases are processed by Apple and Google, refunds for NEET Codex Premium are also handled by them — not by NEET Codex directly. Please follow the steps below to request a refund through the appropriate store.
1. How Premium works
NEET Codex is free to download. Chapters 1 and 2 are unlocked for every user, permanently. All other chapters and AI features (AI Doubt Solver, AI Question Generator, full NEET Mastery section) require an active NEET Codex Premium subscription.
Subscriptions are sold and managed through the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Pricing is shown inside the app on the paywall screen and varies by region.
2. Auto-renewal
Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly, quarterly or annually, depending on the plan you choose) unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the next renewal date. Auto-renewal is required by Apple and Google for in-app subscriptions and cannot be disabled by NEET Codex.
3. How to cancel
Cancelling stops the next automatic renewal. You retain Premium access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
iOS / iPadOS
- Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions.
- Select NEET Codex.
- Tap Cancel Subscription and confirm.
Android
- Open the Google Play Store app.
- Tap your profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
- Select NEET Codex.
- Tap Cancel subscription and follow the prompts.
4. Refund requests
Because Apple and Google process all in-app payments, NEET Codex does not have access to your payment method and cannot issue refunds directly. Refunds must be requested from the store you purchased from. Apple and Google decide whether to grant refunds based on their own policies, which generally favour requests made within a short window after purchase and for purchases that have not been substantially used.
Requesting a refund from Apple
- Visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Sign in with the Apple ID used for the purchase.
- Find the NEET Codex purchase, tap Report a Problem and follow the steps.
- EU residents have additional statutory rights under EU consumer law.
Requesting a refund from Google Play
- Open Play Store → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Budget & history.
- Tap the NEET Codex transaction, then Request a refund.
- Or visit Google's refund guide.
5. Free trials
If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged during the trial period. The subscription begins automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel beforehand. Cancel at any time during the trial without being charged.
6. Price changes
We may change subscription prices from time to time. Any price change will be communicated to you in advance through the App Store or Play Store and will only take effect at your next renewal — you can cancel before then if you do not agree to the new price.
7. Restoring purchases
If you re-install NEET Codex or sign in on a new device, open Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Premium will reactivate as long as you use the same Apple ID or Google account that originally subscribed.
