This policy explains how you pay for NEET Codex Premium, how long your access lasts, and when a refund is available. Please read it before you buy. The free trial described in Section 2 exists so that you can try Premium in full before paying anything.
1. What is free and what is Premium
NEET Codex is free to download. Three sample chapters — Cell: The Unit of Life, Breathing and Exchange of Gases and Molecular Basis of Inheritance — are unlocked for every user, permanently, and every other chapter includes two free recall topics. All remaining content requires NEET Codex Premium.
The AI features (AI Doubt Solver and AI Question Generator) and Custom Tests include a one-time free allowance for every user — currently 20 doubts, 25 generated questions and 100 Custom Test questions. This allowance does not reset. Once it is used up, continued access requires Premium: the AI features carry a recurring allowance that refreshes each period, and Custom Tests become unlimited. Current allowances are always shown inside the app on the AI tab and the Test tab.
2. Free trial
Eligible users can start a free trial of Premium from inside the app. The trial does not ask for a card or any payment details, and it never turns into a paid purchase — when it ends, your account simply returns to the free plan. The trial is available once per phone number. Its length is shown in the app before you start it.
3. How you can pay
NEET Pass (one-time payment)
A NEET Pass is a single payment that unlocks Premium for one NEET exam year. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. The date your access ends is shown on the purchase screen before you pay — for example, a NEET 2027 Pass runs until 30 June 2027.
If NEET-UG is postponed. If the NEET-UG exam for your pass’s year is held after the access end date shown at purchase, we will extend your access up to the date of that exam, at no extra cost.
Subscriptions (existing subscribers)
Some users hold an auto-renewing subscription bought through the App Store or Google Play. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep Premium until the end of the period you have already paid for.
- iOS / iPadOS: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → NEET Codex → Cancel Subscription.
- Android: Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → NEET Codex → Cancel subscription.
Direct payment
In some cases we may accept a direct payment (for example, by UPI) and activate Premium on your account by hand. The access you receive, and the date it ends, will be confirmed to you in writing before you pay. This policy applies to direct payments in the same way as to store purchases.
4. Our refund policy
All purchases are final. Because you can try Premium free of charge before paying, we do not offer refunds for a change of mind, for not using the app, or for a purchase you no longer need — for example, after a change of exam plans. Cancelling a subscription stops future renewals but does not refund the current period.
Errors in questions or content
NEET Codex contains thousands of questions, answers, explanations and diagrams, and despite careful checking some errors will occur (see our Disclaimer). Errors in individual questions, answer keys, explanations, tests or diagrams, and minor bugs, are not grounds for a refund. Please report them using the report button next to any question in the app, or by email, and we will correct them as quickly as we can.
When we will refund
- Payment problems. If you were charged twice for the same purchase, or you paid and Premium was not activated on your account and we cannot activate it, we will refund the payment that did not give you access.
- Serious loss of service. If a substantial part of the paid content or features you bought becomes unavailable or unusable and we cannot restore it within a reasonable time — or if we stop operating NEET Codex, or permanently withdraw paid content, before your access end date — we will give you a pro-rata refund for the remaining, unused part of your access period.
Discretionary refunds
Outside the cases above, we may still choose to issue a full or partial refund, entirely at our own discretion. Doing so in one case does not create a right to a refund in any other case.
What happens after a refund
When a purchase is refunded — by us, by Apple or by Google — the Premium access it paid for ends when the refund is processed.
5. How to ask for a refund
Contact us first at neetcodex312@gmail.com with the phone number on your account, the date of purchase, and what went wrong. We respond within 24 hours.
- Android (Google Play): approved refunds are issued by us through Google Play to your original payment method. Google may also handle refund requests made directly to it under Google Play’s own policies.
- iOS (App Store): Apple processes all App Store payments, so we cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves. Apple decides refund requests under its own policies at reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Direct payments: approved refunds are sent back to the account you paid from.
6. Price changes
We may change prices from time to time. A price change never affects a NEET Pass you have already bought. For subscriptions, any change is communicated in advance through the App Store or Google Play and takes effect only at your next renewal, so you can cancel before then if you do not agree.
7. Restoring purchases
If you re-install NEET Codex or move to a new phone, open Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Premium will reactivate as long as you use the same Apple ID or Google account you paid with.
8. Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under applicable law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
